Download GPicSync To GeoTag Travel Photos

Labels: ,

It always happens when users travel and take a lot of photos; when they go home, they tend to forget where the photos were taken. Of course with many of the latest cameras such as Nikon Coolpix series which feature built-in GPS receivers, users can easily geotag their photos and record the location where the photos were taken. However, if users are still using the dinosaur age camera without GPS-enable, users can still enjoy the same facility if they have a GPS logger. To make things work, what they need is a Geotagging application. One of the useful and free GeoTagging programs probably users can try is GPicSync.

GPicSync doesn’t feature a wonderful or fancy interface but it is user-friendly and features many handy functions. For instance, the program includes an EXIF reader which allows users to embed geographic location into the EXIF header. Besides, users can add photo thumbnail to the Google Earth or Google Map program conveniently via the KMZ file generator. Via GPicSync, users also can easily post their geotagged photos to web services such as Picasa or Flickr as these programs recognize GPicSync.

GPicSync has recently released its latest update GPicSync1-28. Users who want to try the application can download it via the link here and refer to the tutorial on how to Geotag your Photos With GPicSync.
